This week we will be comparing and contrasting two documents, the Declaration of Independence and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

- Watch the face of Sam Adams as he listens to his cousin's closing argument. What do you think is going on in his mind?

- Tuesday Primary Activity Directions:
- For each of the three documents below MATCH it to a section of the 2nd paragraph of the Declaration of Independence.
- Check to see that your matching was done correctly with either Mr. Symes or a trusted peer
- Identify 5 key words, they can be from both the doc being matched and the Declaration of Independence
- Put the concept of the section into your own words, using the 5 terms that you identified above
- Abbreviated versions of the documents can be found HERE, Locke's 2nd Treatise not available in abbreviated version.
